Earlier this week we read about a study in Perth Australia that showed that a diet high in diary food was beneficial for weight loss and now we have found another closely related study.
This second study conducted in Sweden was performed on 114 eight year old children and found that the ones who drank full fat milk were less likely to become overweight than those who drank the skimmed version!
Here is another case of the fact that eating low fat foods is not always the best choice!! Your body needs fat and most of the times foods that cliam to be low fat are filled with other man made chemicals or sugar to compensate. Highly unhealhty.

Sorry for being so blunt but the truth of the matter is that most people don’t like change. Change means that they have to be removed from their comfort zone. They have to alter their routines, daily habits and lifestyles and most people will do anything to avoid such a dilemma.
I know some people very close to me that complain about their weight and they even realise that this may be the cause of some of their medical conditions. I tell them that by changing their eating and drinking habits and by taking more care in what they do with their bodies that they will be able to reverse the effects on bodies and they even agree with me! However they don’t like change. They realise that they are probably contributing to their suffering but do not wish to make the effort and change their lifestyle to control their overweight problem, which will most likely also help their medical conditions.
They don’t want to lose weight bad enough.
I really hope you don’t have the same mindset. You can make a difference just like these people. But it is up to one person and one person only to make a change and that is YOU!

Everyone has heard of The Biggest Loser, well now a whole entourage of similarly related TV Shows are set to hit the screens.

This one will follow the lives of some very large overweight people who have difficulty living in society because of their physical size. Filmed over 6 months we will see them lose their weight healthily and achieve a more normal life.
Finally another show will follow an obese family with a 340 pound dad, a 400 pound mother and their 300 pound children.
While these shows may be taking reality TV to a new extreme they all should be viewed with from an educational perspective. What they are really screaming out is that the world is getting fatter, unhealthier and more overweight.
The show Obese really focuses on the issues that these people are facing from not fitting into society and everyone should watch these shows to become aware of what can happen to your weight if not controlled. Also the specific weight loss shows may highlight some effective fat loss strategies that everyone should know and use to their advantage.
It is very easy to say that you want to lose weight but only by commiting to your goal and striving to acheive it will you ever succeed.
